Request a Trip / Volunteer Attendance Signup

Complete the form below to register to attend a trip, or volunteer for an event (trip or otherwise).  Volunteers intending to assist with a walkup event are also requested to register for the given event through the same form.

PLEASE NOTE

  • Only those trips currently open for reservation requests are listed in the signup system.
  • Trips generally open for requests 2-3 weeks in advance, and close 2-3 days before the trip date.
  • Initial notification of selection for a trip will be sent out 2-3 days before the trip date.
  • Final selections and declines will be sent out the day or night before the event.
  • Make sure to “Whitelist” the addresses  for our notification emails to make sure you receive them (see below)

If the event for which you seek to register is not available for signup and is less than three weeks away (but more than 2-3 days away), please contact the poster of the event listed on the public calendar ( Click on the event, click on “more details”, then look for the “Created by” email on the Google Calendar event ) to check the availability.

If you are selected for a trip, you may print and bring a copy of our Waivers to the event to speed your check-in.

 

Whitelisting

Some email end up in Spam.  To ensure you receive the notifications, there are a few approaches to prevent this which vary by email provider and their effectiveness.  Sometimes it is sufficient to add the address to your Contacts list, but not always.

We use a few addresses to notify you of your selection status for the events that require signup.

  • trip_coordinator@licboathouse.org
  • volunteer_coordinator@licboathouse.org

Make sure to add the above addresses to you Contacts list or the addresses or the entire ‘@licboathouse.org’ domain to your email account’s “Whitelist” if you have one, .  The mechanism for doing this varies by provider.  Some instructions are listed below:
