[Announce] "City of Water" film showing tonight!

Hi All,

For those who missed it at Water Taxi Beach and Socrates Sculpture 
Park, you still have another chance TONIGHT to catch a Queens viewing 
of "City of Water," the Metropolitan Waterfront Alliance (  
http://www.waterwire.net  )/Municipal Art Society's documentary about 
the future of New York Harbor. The LIC Community Boathouse is featured 
in the film, but more importantly it's a great chance to learn about 
other important members of the harbor community and to learn about 
their concerns and achievements. 

Bonus: it's a great chance to visit the Greater Astoria Historical 
Society and meet its great team of volunteers.

So here's the location:

Monday, October 1, 7:00 p.m., at the Greater Astoria Historical 
Society,
35-20 Broadway, 4th Floor, Long Island City 

The Society is between the N and R lines and two bike paths.
