[Announce] URGENT VOLUNTEER NEEDS.

Ahoy'all!

Wow, are we growing! We put more than 100 people on the water at Hallets
Cove last Sunday and our trip roster is growing to several a week. That
means we need volunteers. More volunteers, more than ever.

Some needs:

1) Hallets Cove

We need people to paddle to patrol the perimeter, manage the waiting list,
get waivers signed fully and completely, help people fit their life jackets,
give basic instruction, and other basic chores.

2) Boat Painting

One immediate project is painting our boats. We'll gather on Monday at 6PM
at the Anable Cove boathouse (East River end of 44th Drive). This is a basic
lettering job: website, boat name, sponsor.

3) Trip Aid

Veteran paddlers are needed to keep tour groups safe, tight, and oriented.

4) Funding and Events

Help us get sponsors, renew sponsorships, and arrange a great party on the
pier in September! This is critical to the continuing success and growth of
the boathouse.
