The LIC Community Boathouse meeting which had been scheduled for March 24th has been rescheduled for April 1st, 7PM to 8:30PM at 46-01 5th Street LIC.
All are invited to attend and participate in planning LICCB’s fast approaching 2010 paddling season. New volunteers are always especially welcome to meet us and get involved.

Reminder, this weekend (March 26 thru 28th)is Paddlesport, the largest canoe & kayak show on the East Coast. The show features manufacturers of kayaks, canoes, accessories, sportswear, paddling clubs professional instruction and expeditions, as well as lectures and video and slide shows of paddling trips, expeditions and paddling techniques.
