Hallets Cove Paddling Cancelled July 11th, and more news
Paddling at Hallets Cove will NOT take place Sunday July 11th because of the construction project to open the seawall and eliminate the need for the old wooden staircase. We hope that this work will be completed in time to resume the program on July 18th.
The Sunday morning paddle from Anable Basin is still ON for July 11th. If you are registered for this trip, you have already been notified by email.
July 15th, Thursday, LICCB will co-host Queens Green Drinks with Green Shores NYC 6PM-10PM at 4-40 44th Drive (just a few blocks from the boathouse). Please join us for this waterfront social. No cover charge! Food and drinks avilable for purchase. Entertainment and skyline sunset are included. It’s a short walk from the 7 train’s first stop in Queens, Vernon/Jackson.

July 24th, City of Water Day on Governors Island, Paddle there with LICCB, or get there by free ferry, but don’t miss this one. Paddlers have the option to return same day or camp on the island and paddle back to LIC next day. Details and logisics will appear on our website soon, so check back.
