Thursday, September 23rd 5PM-9PM is the annual Gowanus Dredgers SuperFun Party at 400 Carrol Street on the canal in Brooklyn. Join members from all the Dredger clubs for an evening of food, entertainment, paddling and even canoe races!! Saturday, Sept. 25th, LICCB paddles to South Brother Island to participate in the 25th Annual International Shoreline Cleanup Day. See the calendar page and then use the “Request a Trip” link to volunteer for this event. Seats are limited for this very popular trip.

Sunday Sept. 26th at Hallets Cove, LICCB, Socrates Sculpture Park and NYC Dept of Parks & Recreation will celebrate the new gateway to the beach with a ribbon cutting ceremony at 1:00PM. Wear your LICCB tee shirt for this if you have one!!! Free walk up paddling at the cove will follow through 5PM. Please join us for one of our last public paddling opportunities of the 2010 season.
