Happy spring!
The days are finally, at last, getting warmer and we are getting ready for an amazing summer.

Here are a few of the highlights (move your cursor over for links):

We’ve got an amazing new leadership group that we’ve been working on since the dead of winter. And we are always very open to bringing in more folks into our/your all volunteer boathouse!  Make sure you use the Volunteer button to fill out your form, we are going to do better at collecting info and getting back to folks.  Ping me directly if you have fundraising or programing skills/time and we’ll put you right to work on our teams! john@licboathouse.org

We are looking to aggressively fundraise to pay for bathroom renovations and other essentials, so if you have companies that want to do a team building or Kayak signage donation , let us know!

We have finally moved our website over to our own servers and are redoing the website, getting all 21st-century! So expect some changes and some bugs for the next few weeks or so.

We are getting more organized and transparent on everything to make life simple and Drama free. These are the new very strict boat storage and locker policy and procedures here. Please review them if you have anything stored in the boathouse currently as spring cleaning will start to occur shortly and we will not be responsible for personal property outside the guidelines!

We are working with our generous patrons and hosts, Plaxall, to improve and keep the area and properties safe and fun! Always be respectful of our neighbors and the public of course. The neighborhood is getting very crowded and we will be getting challenges for spaaaaaace. Do not leave anything on the dock, in the hallway, sidewalk, etc. without express instructions. Bob is point on all that. Our job is to have fun and have everyone else have fun with us!
