On Wednesday, August 23rd from 5:30PM to 8:30PM, we will be offering training for anyone interested in doing future swim support.

This will be an on-land and on water training (with a swimmer) by UrbanSwim Fleet Commander Paul Amico to learn how to escort swimmers in a variety of circumstances – solo escort as well as group escort.

Paul is the on-water captain for the NYC Triathlon and the L2F swim. He has also managed and established the on water swim part for 100’s of Ironman events.

Those wishing to participate in the Liberty to Freedom escort are strongly encouraged to attend, but the event is open to anyone with an interest in participating in escort events in the future, either with UrbanSwim or other groups (CIBBOWS, NYC Tri, etc.).
