Hello Paddlers,

Happy Fall!  LICCB volunteers attended the Party in the Park Sept 28th at Socrates Sculpture Park. We braved persistent light rain yet a splendid time was had by all.  The party was an excellent finish to a great month of activities.  There’s more to come!

Fall Volunteer Trips – All of the following trips are exclusively for active volunteers who have helped at Hallets Cove events and / or LICCB work parties in 2024.

Sunday October 6th – Staten Island Graveyard of Ships Paddle Trip – 7:30am to 6:30pm – This trailer trip meets and ends at the LIC Boathouse at 4601 5th Street. (Times above include set up and wrap up and travel time.)

Saturday October 12th – Sea Kayak Test Drives – 12 noon to 6:30pm – This event starts and ends at LIC Boathouse at 4601 5th Street. Join us and try out various sea kayaks in the protected environment of Hallets Cove. (Times above include set up, wrap up and travel time.)

Friday October 18th – Newtown Creek Moonlight End to End Canoe Trip – START and END TIMES TBD – This trip meets and ends at the LIC Boathouse at 4601 5th Street. Capacity is very limited.
