On Dec. 15, LICCB volunteers will elect seven Steering Council members to
guide us through the coming year. We are seeking a fleet of candidates with
diverse backgrounds and interests. Anyone who has volunteered with us in 2010 is
eligible.

Here are the details: To declare yourself a candidate, send a brief email to
liccbelection@gmail.com. Candidates are encouraged to submit a one-page resume
detailing any relevant experience or education, as well as a one-page statement
explaining their interest and vision. These documents must be received by
Saturday, Nov. 13 at midnight.

The candidates will make short presentations and take questions at a meeting on
Wednesday, Nov. 17.

After a vote at a meeting on Wednesday, Dec. 15, ballots will be tallied and
candidates will be informed of the results. Immediately afterward, newly elected
council members will vote on a chairperson.
