Come to Anable Basin for free kayaking or canoeing. (located at the end the sidewalk along LIC Flea) No reservation, no experience needed. All ages are welcome, but minors under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. Participants must be able to swim. Wear clothing and footwear that can get wet. Dogs are welcome at this event! Join us for our weekly office hours where we get the behind-the-scenes work done. As an all-volunteer organization, behind-the-scenes work includes items such as website redesign, marketing, data analysis, volunteer engagement strategy, equipment maintenance, etc. Every week we have a different focus and we have a working meeting to accomplish needs for our boathouse. Feel free to come by and help us out! We meet Mondays 6-9pm at Rockaway Brewery’s upstairs space. If you’re interested – stop by!
