Three days of 90 degree heat and humidity, that's PERFECT. LIC Community Boathouse welcomes the early arrival of summer this Saturday, June 1st with three opportunities to paddle. 1) Our first free kayaking and canoeing event at Hallets Cove. Come to Vernon Blvd and 31st Avenue (just north of Socrates Sculpture Park). No reservation, no experience needed. HELLO Water Lovers, Another LIC Community Boathouse (LICCB) paddling season is about to begin. At last, the water temperature is rising above 60 degrees and we're preparing to get back on the water.
