Come one, come all to celebrate the pioneering organization that has facilitated so much waterfront reclamation with its ongoing mission. The Gowanus Dredgers Canoe Club is a 501c3 non-profit corporation that fosters waterfront access and is the "parent" organization to Long Island City Community Boathouse, Red Hook Boaters, Kayak Staten Island, and the Riverbank Pool Program. A successful spinoff was achieved in Brooklyn Bridge Park, where recreational boating is offered to the public by the Brooklyn Bridge Park Boaters.
